Disclaimer: I didn't actually MEAN to take a week off of blogging. Somehow it just happened. Mainly because, even on vacation, my kids insisted on things like being fed. Swimming in the ocean. (I mean who do they think they are, anyway? Rude.) Rubbing their actual poop all over the actual toilet for me to clean up. Good times, y'all. Good times. Let's just pretend like I've been here the whole time, sharing my embarrassing stories and borderline shopping addiction with the world.
I was a little skeptical when I heard that Khloe Kardashian had her own denim line. If by "skeptical," I mean "I rolled my eyes. HARD."
But y'all, then I reconsidered. Because, I think we can all agree that, while Ms. Kardashian may be known for some D-R-A-M-A, she also seems to know a thing or two about dressing a curvy body. And when I tell you that Good American jeans FIT LIKE THEY ARE MADE OF ACTUAL BUTTER, I am not exaggerating. (I'm also not being paid, guys. This is in no way sponsored, mainly because Good American has no idea I'm alive. But still. This is just from me to you, one curvy girl to another.)
The other thing I particularly enjoy about Good American, is that I tend to go down a size. Or even two. Some may refer to this as "vanity sizing." I just refer to it as "HECK YES I'M BUYING ANYTHING THAT TELLS ME I'M A SIZE 2" sizing. (Which clearly, I am NOT.)
In all seriousness, I think these are definitely worth the investment. I've spent time trying on several different styles (as I am obviously engaging in important RESEARCH), and basically, I'm in love with all of them. PLUS, rumor has it that some of the Good American line will be on major sale during the upcoming Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, as will this hugely popular BlankNYC jacket (and if you think I don't own it in every color available, then clearly you don't know me at all.).
On that note, check back tomorrow, because I will have an EPIC guide to shopping the NSale, RATMJ-style. I'm gonna be taking y'all inside the sale a day early (THIS WEDNESDAY!) to show you guys some of my fave, Sherri-tested and approved finds. (Act like it's a thing). Just follow me on Instagram @sherridickens.
And get ready to shop your faces off.
