Well, for all of you who started your Elf On the Shelf in November, HOW DARE YOU? I had to endure like a week of constant questioning about why Jack Frost hadn't come yet.
(Because he likes whining about as much as Mommy.)
Mind you, AG may or may not have discovered the truth behind the Elf this year. If by discovered, I mean, she found our elf stuffed into the drawer where he lives all year. Listen up guys, if this happens to you, say something slick like, he's been waiting to jump out and scare the bejesus outta you. Don't just stand there awkwardly giggling because you've been caught and can't think of anything to say. Just FYI. #besmootherthanme
Anyway, since my little blog has grown a bit since last year (at least to the point where there are a few readers who aren't related to me), I thought I'd re-share one of my all-time favorite posts from last year.
Because I love you. (Also because it's December 7th, and I'm already tired. Don't judge. Rude.)
What are your elf coping strategies? Can we get our kids on board with Elfs for Moms? Who bring treats like Xanax & vodka, and clean the house while we sleep?
I would so be here for that.
