You know those white Christmas trees that you stumble upon unexpectedly, and think, "huh. maybe I need a white Christmas tree in, oh, I don't know, EVERY SINGLE ROOM IN MY HOUSE."
Well, this is my outfit version of the white Christmas tree. Because sometimes, we just want to be a little unexpected. And this blush/ivory pairing is unexpected, on-trend, and DID I MENTION completely versatile?
Yes. You can wear this to a friend's white elephant party. A holiday wine-tasting. An ornament exchange. A cookie-swap. Or whatever other reason girls make up so we can GET THE HECK OUT OF OUR HOUSE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 5-8PM.
Just saying.
Not only is it versatile, you can break apart the pieces and wear them anywhere and everywhere. Again, for the husbands that are reading (mine), this means your wife saved you some money, and basically acquired the entire outfit for free.
Disclaimer: Below are current alternatives to the pieces I'm actually wearing, because my outfit is all from last year. (shhhh. Don't tell the other fashion bloggers.) Apparently, "I have to buy it for the blog" isn't a valid enough reason for SOME PEOPLE. Ahem.
So, I'll leave you with this: in a party full of red and green, dare to be blush and ivory.
Until next time,
