Five Holiday Party Outfit Ideas For This Season

It’s the week of Christmas and I’m sure everyone is scrambling to find gifts and outfits for the holidays. Between holiday get togethers with friends and Christmas with the relatives, finding the perfect outfit can become stressful, especially for us fashionable ladies. Well, to make things a little easier this year, I have put together five cute outfits to show off this holiday season. Check them out below and be sure to send me and tag me in all your outfits this year. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!!!!

Quick HoliDay Party Considerations

  • What time is the party taking place? Wear lighter fabrics during the daytime and heavier ones at night since that is when the cold hits.

  • What’s your budget? If you’re on a tighter budget, keep track of the Christmas sales and try to get the best holiday deals.

  • Don’t stick to the traditional green and red colors strictly because it’s Christmas. Change it up!

  • If the party is outdoor, it is best to overestimate the cold and layer clothing rather than underestimate it. Being cold is never fun.

1) Turtlenecks & Coats

Turtlenecks have been a fashionable look for winter in previous years. This holiday season, spice up your Christmas attire with a turtleneck and long coat. This look is exclusively for parties where you are free to dress up in any colors. What is great about this look is that it is not only fashionable but also warm. (PURCHASE HERE)

2) Sweater Vests

Instead of sticking to dresses let’s upgrade your style a little bit. Grab grandpa’s sweater vest and slip it on top of a plan colored button-down. Now the trick here is to go soft on the colors but hard on the look, so get your hands on fun colored wide-legged pants to go with the rest of the outfit. You will be receiving compliments all night.

3) Peplum Shirts

A stylish peplum top with other outfits is a great party wear trend this season. Since it’s winter season you can wear a peplum top in cold weather. You can also try on some of your old clothes and style them in a different way by up-cycling them. Flats can be worn if you plan on going for a party that lasts until midnight or if there’s dancing involved. If you plan to stay for a short time, then go for heels. Match this simple yet stunning outfit with some gold jewelry and nail polish that is either nude or dark since both color ranges compliment red.

4) Christmas Accessories

Christmas is all about wearing pretty colors along with the combination of dark shades of Christmas such as green, red and maroon colors. To add to the outfit and get more in the Christmas spirit it is always a good idea to accessorize. For accessories, the best option is to go for nude with gold jewelry. Do not forget to add cute little gold earrings to perfect the whole look.

5) The Old Fashion Christmas Sweater

Many women consider Christmas sweaters to be ugly presents that are not suitable for fashionable party wear. This year, try putting them to good use by rocking them at a holiday party. You can give them a flirty twist by pairing them with a floral dress and glittery ankle booties. Another idea is to wear them with tights and spice things up with jewelry. There are so many options to mix and match to suit your fashion needs and wants.

At the end of the day, your outfit is a reflection of yourself and we all want to look stylish and get as many compliments as possible.
