The Thanksgiving dressing isn’t all about the delicious warm side in a casserole dish, but it’s also about your outfit and the way you decide to dress literally! With that being said, I will be sharing a few of my favorite Thanksgiving fashion outfits and trends that you can participate in this turkey day.

We are less than a month away from the “official” deals on Black Friday, but plenty of stores are already offering their discounts to us.

With that, people are constantly changing in their sense of fashion and wondering the impact their clothes might have on the environment. So some may ask, what is the environmental impact of my clothes? What are the materials….

It’s a little ironic that Scotties reached out to me about collaborating on a project, because the sheer amount of tissues my people have been using over the last 2 months will probably bankrupt us soon. So when Scotties asked if they could send me some boxes featuring their new spring designs, I was all SEND HELP AND BY HELP I MEAN ALLLLLL THE TISSUES AND BTW WHEN CAN WE START?!
Now, we’re into allergy season. So guess what we need more of? TISSUES. If I’m being honest, I’ve kind of avoided the “conveniently placed tissue box” route, in favor of the “blow your nose until it’s raw using only toilet paper and paper towels” method. Why? Because most tissue boxes aren’t all that decorative. Enter Scotties spring designs, which look great in virtually every room in my home. Not only that, there are SO MANY fun ways to upcycle these bad boys. My personal favorite is using the empty boxes to make a cute spring-y garland.
Read MoreListen y’all, let’s be honest: if you LOOK like you’re old enough to have had a midlife crisis, (or be on the verge of one), people generally assume you are a responsible adult. As opposed to the kind of adult who unknowingly wears her pants inside out for an entire day. Hypothetically. ISH.
Basically, I need an adult of my own. (*My mom happily volunteers as tribute.)
The thing is, when you’re of a certain age, people just expect you to know things. Like, how to do your taxes. How to balance a checkbook. (Millennials be like, what’s a checkbook?? Ewwwwww!) to sew a button onto a shirt. Which my actual daughter can do, btw. She is now my adult. And will now receive the gift of doing the adulting.
AG: Thanks. I hate it.
Read MoreFor at least 5 minutes every January, I resolve to keep my house clean and organized. Then I remember my actual personality, and that flies out the window. Usually around January 17th.
Until then, I’m going to pretend that I am a neat and tidy person. And for me, the one thing that always makes me feel organized in the midst of chaos, is making my bed. I’ve been trying to instill this ONE good habit of mine in AG and Bo, as opposed to the other habits that generally involve too much tv, too much sugar, and too much time spent at Nordstrom.
Anyway, this bed-making thing has NOT been going well. Mainly because I made the rookie mom mistake of giving them beds that are absolutely adorable and absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to make. (For children and maybe also for their 38 year old mothers. Ahem.)

It’s officially November y’all! Otherwise known as The Month In Which Sherri Plans to Blame Everything on the Time Change.
Including but not limited to mood swings, overspending, forgetting things (like her budget and how to fold laundry), and her overall state of general disorganization.
Read MoreSometimes you wanna Pinterest up an amazing, creative Halloween costume that impresses all of Instagram, I mean, YOUR SWEET CHILDREN, who, have apparently "always wanted a fun mom that dresses up for Halloween."
Good to know.
But then, other times you just wanna justify those new moto boots you bought. Or that camo jacket you’ve been eyeing. Or the red ringmaster coat that a certain someone said was too “extra,” but you just KNEW that one day there would be a highly popular movie about a musically gifted dreamer who opens his own circus. Or ya know. Something like that.
Read MoreToday our marriage is a fourteen year old. So we’re gonna talk about John y’all. And not ONLY to say something outlandish to see if actually reads the blog. Although that will be an added bonus. Muahahaha.
See, today, we’ve been married for FOURTEEN years. I know what you’re thinking, and the answer is YES. Yes, I WAS a child bride. I met John the very day I moved to Atlanta for my first job out of college. What followed was a quick breakup with my current boyfriend, because I knew SOMETHING about John was different. And even though I couldn’t remember his first name after our last meeting (I just referred to him as “the hot guy from that thing”), I knew I’d see him again, and I KNEW he was special.

Just kidding. Mostly. But I'll bet some of you #girlmoms will relate so hard to this post. When our daughters were babies and toddlers, it was REALLY FUN to dress them, right? Whether you were into smocking or skinny jeans, cold shoulder shirts or big bows, it's like playing dress up with a cute doll. One who cries, poops, and throws tantrums. yes. But a doll who will at least wear what the heck you spend your cash money on, because DOESN'T SHE KNOW PEOPLE PAY YOU TO DO THIS??. A-HEM.
Read MoreLean in close and get ready to be shocked y’all. I get botox. I know, I know. You HAD NO IDEA. I basically showed up at my doctor's office THE VERY DAY I stopped nursing Bo, and was all MAMA NEEDS SOME BOTOX STAT! (Doctors love it when you use medical jargon like stat. About as much as when you tell them you WebMD-ed your symptoms and diagnosed yourself.)
Anyway, way back when I was significantly younger (and more annoying), I was all
