Y'all. I think we all know that I'm not what you would call a "beauty blogger." If we're being real honest, I'm more of what we would call "focus on the clothes because makeup is confusing" kind of blogger. 

But, I have ALWAYS loved and appreciated great skincare products. Not to mention, I have confused the heck outta my skin by trying every potion I can get my hands on. Therefore, I am deeming myself a skincare expert. (Also, you should understand that this title of "expert" exists only in my mind.)

Admittedly, I am not known for my professional work attire. (I'm not sure I'm actually "known" for anything, except watching reality tv and drinking an inordinate amount of Starbucks. #goals)  Most of the time, my version of professional wear involves some sort denim with holes in it. But, many of you go to work in offices where the athleisure look is frowned upon.  This post is for YOU, all my ladies who work in offices where you need to dress like a GROWN UP. Versus THOSE OF US who are sitting here typing in sweats and a t-shirt who's cleanliness is questionable at best.

dressing room diaries : nsale edition

I don't know if you've heard, but there's a sale happening that's kind of a big deal. And let's be honest, some of you are all, JEEZ CAN THE ENTIRE INTERNET SHUT UP ABOUT THE ANNIVERSARY SALE

Well, I'm here to say, NO. We cannot. I've gotta tell y'all, I used to be SUPER intimidated by shopping at Nordstrom. I thought I had to be in possession of a trust fund, or possibly money I had stolen from a bank. Then, one year, I participated in the anniversary sale, where I learned that A) there are SO MANY THINGS under $50 on sale. And B) NORDSTROM IS FREAKING AWESOME.  Not everything is from some obscure designer that costs a year of my child's education.
